The Grill2Go x200 even features a die-cast firebox and aluminum lid built to survive the adventure away from home. The lid is hinged to the rest of the grill to keep things simple when you have limited space but want to cook, and the large handle allows you to open and close the lid safely and easily. When it's time to go, packing up is hassle-free with the securely latching top and dual Cool-Touch heat-resistant handles.

Quality rust-resistant and durable steel construction with a black porcelain finish helps to extend the life of your grill – plus, the stainless steel cooking grate is a snap to clean. All Char-Broil TRU-Infrared grills generate a minimum of 65 percent infrared heat, which is evenly spread across the entire cooking surface to cook food -- without drying -- at temperatures that range from simmer to sear.

Unlike traditional gas grills that use convective heat (hot air) to cook food, Char-Broil's TRU-Infrared grills limit the hot air flow and use natural, radiant heat to cook food directly without drying. While convective heat destroys food's moisture barrier, infrared heat penetrates it without drying and locks in natural juices and flavors. Char-Broil's TRU-Infrared cooking system virtually eliminates flare-ups while producing very even heat (no hot or cold spots).

This grill is powered by liquid propane gas and runs on a 1-pound propane gas tank (not included). It reaches cooking temperatures quickly, delivers high temps, and maintains even heat. The Amplifire cooking system grills juicier food, eliminates guesswork, and prevents flare-ups. The emitter plate transfers heat from the flame directly to the grate, vaporizes drippings, and sends the flavor back into your food.

You can grill up to 8 burgers, 4 chicken breasts, or 12 brats on the 200-square-inch grate. The grill has a 9,500 BTU rating, but BTU is a measurement of energy used by your grill and is not related to how hot it will get. The steel grates are porcelain-coated to resist rust and make them easier to clean. They're lightweight, retain heat to cook food evenly, and leave impressive grill marks.

The lid-mounted temperature gauge displays accurate temps, so you always know the temperature inside the cooking chamber. A push-button igniter creates a spark at the burner that lights the grill when you press the button and turn the control knob. The control knob powers the grill on and off and adjusts cooking temperatures. Carry handles and stainless-steel latches make it simple to securely transport this tabletop grill, and a removable grease tray catches oil drippings and slides out for easy cleaning.
